Here’s a little bit about some of our team you will meet if we get to work with you…

Richard Breen


Richard is Chairman of Capilon Group and has in excess of 40 years of experience covering the whole spectrum of property development and investment across the commercial, residential and hospitality sectors.

Working within both private and publicly listed companies, Richard has managed residential developments of 100+ units and commercial schemes as large as 1.6 million square feet. Since 1989 Richard has launched multiple BES and EIS companies raising investment of over £50 million, as well as overseeing numerous mergers and public flotations.

Richard launched Capilon Group to build up and operate a hotel portfolio which at its peak consisted of nine Central London boutique hotels with more than 400 rooms and total property value in excess of £100 million. Richard founded Dallington Properties Ltd in 2011, a London based development company. Richard was also Chairman and co-owner of an estate agency group including Frank Harris and Jackson-Stops & Staff in London, with 12 offices spread across the capital. In 2019 Richard successfully negotiated the sale of the estate agency group.

Mark Breen

​Managing Director

Mark is Managing Director and co-owner of the companies which form Capilon Group which he joined in 2012. Mark conducts and coordinates all daily business of Capilon Group including that of Dallington Properties.

Mark overseas all aspects of the day to day running of the companies and all their development projects, with responsibilities ranging from financing and acquisition, development and project management, sales and marketing, along with the continued asset management of the current cross sector portfolio.

All hotel operations are conducted by Capilon Group, with Mark managing the day to day running of the company, while overseeing and coordinating the full hotel operations team.

Sam Shepherd

​Head of Business Development

If you are looking to work with us through a hotel management contract or looking for consultancy for your hospitality business, then you’ll get to know Sam. He will be your point of contact throughout and he oversees our new management accounts. Specialising in new openings, rebranding and budget development, and with a focus in opening luxury boutique and lifestyle Hotels around the globe, he has worked with some of the biggest names in London.

With over 20 years of International Hotel Management experience, including over 8 years as General Manager, he has worked his way up in the industry in every role in both Rooms Division and Food & Beverage. He therefore understands every element of hotels and operations with particular detail, and will be able to work with you on creating the right action plan moving forward to get the best out of your hotel.

Aniello Russo

Group Operations ​Manager

Aniello lives and breathes hotel operations and he oversees the day to day management across all of our hotels. With his extensive operational experience, superior focus and team management, he ensures a fantastic guest experience whilst keeping a careful eye on the numbers to ensure our hotel owners are maximising their profits and investments.

Silvia Druga

Head of Housekeeping

Silvia has over 35 years experience in the hotel industry and has been with Capilon Group since day one. Her incredible experience and attention to detail ensures every hotel managed by us delivers impeccable standards and is kept in the highest condition, protecting your investment and delivering a luxurious and attentive comfort to our guests.
